How to take care of your skin daily?

Getting beautiful skin isn’t easy. It requires consistency and the right products.  You may want to slow down the natural aging, decrease breakouts, or avoid flare-ups, there are some essential steps that every woman should do to maintain healthy skin. A great skincare routine shouldn’t be a difficult task. It should be an opportunity for relaxing treatments daily. Maintaining a great skincare routine is the first step for your skin’s health and beautiful glow. Here is the answer to how to take care of your skin daily.

Wear Sunscreen daily to take care of your skin

Sun damage can result in several problems for your skin if you’re not protecting it daily. Research has shown that more exposure to the sun’s UV rays can result in aging skin. That’s why it is essential to make sunscreen a part of your daily skincare routine. Your moisturizer may have sunscreen in it, but it is not enough to protect your skin the entire day. Go for an independent sunscreen with at least SPF 30.

I use:  CoTZ – FACE Natural Tint SPF 40
I have used this lightly tinted face sunscreen. It dries with a matte finish and protects your skin from UVA and UVB rays.

Moisturize daily to take care of your skin

If you ask a dermatologist how to take care of your skin every day? I am sure that the answer will include a moisturizer.  If your daily routine causes you to rush in the morning, moisturizing falls by the wayside. After sunscreen,  moisturizing is the best thing you can include in your daily routine. Whether you have oily skin, dry skin, or anything in between, the right type of moisturizer can make a huge difference.

I use: Dermalogica – Active Moist
With silk proteins, hyaluronic acid & amino acids, this oil-free moisturizer is perfect for daily use.

Include antioxidants in your daily routine take care of your skin

As you get older, your skin’s elastin fibers become looser.  It is since your body is producing less collagen. It results in wrinkles.  Your skin becomes less elastic due to the cell degeneration in a process called oxidation. To combat this, you need to add antioxidants like vitamins C, E, beta-carotene, and lycopene in your daily routine.

I use: Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare – C + Collagen Perfect SkinSet & Refresh Mist
It is a  multitasking spray. It sets makeup, protects, hydrates, and refreshes my skin with a lot of antioxidants.

Remove makeup before bed to take care of your skin

If you are going to bed with makeup, you’re going with all of the pollution and toxins collected during the day. If you are not cleaning the bad stuff, it can result in clogged pores, breakout, and irritated skin.  Within one minute, you can get rid of all this bad stuff and future skin issues.

I use: One Love Organics – Vitamin B Enzyme Cleansing Oil + Makeup Remover
It gently cleanses my face while delivering antioxidants and vitamins.

Sleep properly to take care of your skin

You should sleep for seven to eight hours each night. It gives your skin time to repair and also recharges for the next day. If you lack sleep, you are going to face skin issues like eye bags, breakouts,  wrinkles, dark circles, inflammation, and more. If you are having trouble falling asleep,  you should establish a calming nighttime routine. It will promote relaxation.

I use: This Works – Sleep Plus Trouble Shooter
It is filled with hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, and essential oils. This sleep troubleshooter promotes deep, restful sleep and combats the signs of aging at the same time.

Be happy, healthy, and strong!
