Customer received a 1,000g sample of freeze dried bananas, had it tested at 3rd party lab and received a positive test result for Salmonella.
Salmonella causes fever, diarrhea and abdominal cramps, usually 12 to 72 hours after eating contaminated food. Most people recover without treatment, but severe cases can need hospital care.
