Reason for recall
Sargento is recalling Frozen Unbreaded French Onion CC, Frozen Unbreaded Egg 3 cheese and caramelized Onion and Frozen Unbreaded Egg, Gouda, caramelized onion due to potential Listeria monocytogenes or Salmonella contamination.
Listeria monocytogenes can grow at refrigerator temperatures. Infection is most dangerous for pregnant women, newborns, older adults and people with weakened immune systems. Symptoms can appear up to 70 days after eating contaminated food.
