Reason for recall
Limu Poke (seaweed tuna) is recalled due to a potential for contamination with Salmonella. This product contains affected seaweed (Kahuku Ogo) which was recalled by Marine Agrifuture, LLC.
Salmonella causes fever, diarrhea and abdominal cramps, usually 12 to 72 hours after eating contaminated food. Most people recover without treatment, but severe cases can need hospital care.
