Ziyad Brothers Importing is voluntarily recalling its Ziyad Brand Tahini, 8 oz. 16 oz., 1/2 gallon and 32 oz. sizes due to potential contamination with Salmonella.

Salmonella causes fever, diarrhea and abdominal cramps, usually 12 to 72 hours after eating contaminated food. Most people recover without treatment, but severe cases can need hospital care.
