Reason for recall

Herrs Foods is announcing a product recall on Chipotle flavored Kettle Potato Chips under the Herrs and the Peddlers Pantry Brand, 2.0 oz. due to possible health risk. These products were flavored with Chipotle seasoning that contained a milk ingredient . The milk ingredient is being recalled due to a potential risk of Salmonella contamination.

Salmonella causes fever, diarrhea and abdominal cramps, usually 12 to 72 hours after eating contaminated food. Most people recover without treatment, but severe cases can need hospital care.
