Reason for recall
Raw breaded chicken patties were inadvertently used in the ready to eat Burger Chicken Fillet sandwich. Raw breaded chicken patties pose a risk of foodborne illness due to the potential presence of Salmonella.
Salmonella causes fever, diarrhea and abdominal cramps, usually 12 to 72 hours after eating contaminated food. Most people recover without treatment, but severe cases can need hospital care.
