Reason for recall

We were notified by American Licorice Co. through email that levels for lead above those allowed by the FDA were found during testing. We have voluntarily recalled our entire product purchased from them for the required time range.

Lead and other heavy metals accumulate in the body. Children are most at risk; even low levels can affect development.
