Reason for recall
The products have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes based on the findings of the bacteria in the plant via FDA environmental sampling plus the district's inspectional findings
Listeria monocytogenes can grow at refrigerator temperatures. Infection is most dangerous for pregnant women, newborns, older adults and people with weakened immune systems. Symptoms can appear up to 70 days after eating contaminated food.
