Reason for recall
Trifecta Foods, LLC in Pacoima, CA is voluntarily recalling products containing In-Shell Roasted Salted and Unsalted Peanuts supplied to Trifecta Foods by Sunland, Inc. because they may be contaminated with Salmonella.
Salmonella causes fever, diarrhea and abdominal cramps, usually 12 to 72 hours after eating contaminated food. Most people recover without treatment, but severe cases can need hospital care.
